I was too. I was even going to place that as my number one vote. But if you take away the hat it doesn't add anything other than ambience and you're left with a park that's still needs so much.
Yes taking away the hat does nothing to improve draw to DHS. I doubt anyone would ever want to go for the first time just because of the new improved view.

Of the choices you gave? Move the hat either (1) outside the park gates, or (2) as a weenie near the Fantasmic theater.

If I could make any change I wanted? Restore DHS to a working studio. Force Disney Channel shows to tape there and broadcast Radio Disney from there. Allow Pixar and Feature Animation (to the extent it exists anymore) employees to work there for two weeks (or a month) at a time at Disney's expense.

I chose "Pixar Land". Although I think Carsland looks awesome, I really don't want them to "cut and paste" it into DHS. I hope they come up with a pixar land because I think the possibilities are endless, and pixar really does just keep putting out awesome movies.

I picked create a Pixar Land. While Star Wars Land is a good idea, I think more family friendly stuff would be better for a Pixar Land. I udnerstand lots of people know Star Wars and all of the characters are recognized, but to a three year old, probably not. They would recognize Disney/Pixar characters though!! And the park needs more family friendly stuff, even if it doesn't appeal to me directly!

They could easily add family friendly Star Wars elements that could appeal to the kiddies. (My DD had no idea who figment was & now loves him) If they even put one star wars spin ride (gasp, hiss, booo) that would absorb the families quite well

SW Land, no doubt. I'm not a mad SW fan or anything but the attraction and environment possibilities are practically endless. Mos Eisley Cantina? Done. Endor Forest with Speeder Bikes? Okay. Death Star - Escape from the Compactors? E-ticket gold. There are just so many ways to build and rebuild this area that it would be endlessly updatable. How can this not already be in the works?!?!

they could easily expand Pixar by getting rid of the backlot tour & that building next to it that used to be a character greeting. for Star Wars land, prob have to get rid of streets of America to do it.
