I was originally supposed to be going to the Wilderness Lodge mid-Feb, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I am now going to the Carribbean Beach Resort at the end of March. What is the best "island" to stay in at this resort (best views, close to food, bus stops, etc.). :veryconfu
Thanks in advance!

Happy Turkey Day. Trinidad North and Martinique are the closest to Old Port Royale which houses the food court/shops. They are considered preferred villages and costs a few dollars more per night. Jamaica and Aruba are across the lake and are a short walk across a bridge to OPR. There are a few other folks who stay at CBR often and can give you more info on specific rooms with views.

Martinique is closest to the food and customs house. We stayed in Aruba this year and Jamiaica last year and they were both just a nice stroll over the bridge to the food. We enjoyed both...Jamaica was nicest for us because at night, they were the first bus stop drop off nearly every night. Both had quiet pools, which were nice and close bus stops. They also have an inhouse bus that circulates the resort, that you can grab to go to customs house or Old Port Royale (foodcourt) Expect to wait about 15 minutes between busses though.
