Chances of park hours increasing for nov?

I am going to wdw this November and am a little surprised at how early the parks are closing. MK open til 10 on a saturday night? Looking back at previous years this seems early.

What are the chances the park hours get extended in the next month? Do they ever add pm emh?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
No they don't ever add EMH's that are not already scheduled. It may end say an hour later for example if the regular hours get extended by an hour on EMH nights and so on but that's it. So whatever days the evening EMH's are already showing is all they will have. (Which is usually once a week for each park) But yes most likely hours will be slightly extended again the closer to. Hours can even be extended the day of or day before. Has happened to us last year they changed at MK overnight an extra hour that evening in October when we woke up it had changed. ;)

Just checked and park hours have been changed for November and at least the first week of December (I did not check the rest). November 26th was increased until midnight! HS is open until 11 that night as well!

Awesome! Thanks for the headsup. MK is now open til midnight instead of 10pm. Much better :) on a two day trip every hour counts!

Your welcome! I've been checking everyday! The 26th is the first day of our trip and I know it's going to be crazy crowded so I was excited to see later hours too! Now, if they would only give us an update on ROL I would be set!

We booked a last minute long weekend getaway last week for the middle of nov, so we are doing 2 parks/day. I was bummed to see mk initially closing at 10, but it being extended to midnight gives us more time to not feel as rushed.

I almost hope RoL opens after we leave bc i dont want to deal w the crowds!

We are skipping the parks on the 25th and 26th. I'm afraid of the crowds. I don't think it will be as bad with the later hours though!
I WISH we could do a HS late day. The only dessert party I could get was for the 28th, the park closes at 7 that day. :(

Yeah but the latest is still 10pm with only one EMH til 11. Just kinda a bummer. I am usually one of the ones getting to the park later and staying later.
Maybe your week isn't very busy so they don't need the extra hours. To me that would be better than longer days with more people!

Edit, just checked- MK is open til 1am the first Saturday of November. Check the hours again, most look extended. Your HS hours that week are actually later than the week following Thanksgiving.

We will be in the parks 10/31 - 11/4 the latest is 10 pm with two only til 9 :(

You just caught it at a bad time. They are having them (EMH's) that week but not until the day after you leave. Your dates being not for a whole week just fell at the wrong time. They still probably will extend regular hours again closer to from my experience so just keep an eye out. :)

That's actually not too bad. I think during our week there are 5 party nights. So MK is only open to 7 most evenings. We are doing one day MK leaving at 7, one MVMCP, and will head over on the EMH night around 8pm and stay til 1.

You'll be fine til 10, l think it's probably a sign of lower crowds which means you will be able to accomplish more! :)

Agree crowds usually are not bad that week at all. ;)

We went to MK for Thanksgiving last year and they were open until 1AM, Thanksgiving is crowded, but it's not Christmas Day to New Years Day crowded, we had a great time, especially from 10PM-1AM. We liked it so much we want to go back this year and had been noticing that the park was only supposed to be open until 10 on a holiday! So glad to see it has been pushed back to midnite! Maybe it will still hit 1AM!

We go every year at Thanksgiving and it always seems like they extend park hours especially MK and HS at the last minute. There is always at least one night of the trip where MK is open until 1am with extra magic hours until 3am.

In the case of Magic Kingdom, that's the week they swap out the Halloween decorations and replace them with the Christmas ones in anticipation of the first MVMCP. It is pretty normal for slightly earlier closes that week since it tends to be a slower time of year anyway.
