This is just off of the wire.....The guy who played Edward Rooney(the principal) on Ferris Bueller and Chairman Clench in Alien Encounter at WDW was arrested. I wonder if Disney will replace him in Alien Encounter.

'Ferris Bueller' Actor Arrested For Alleged ______ Acts
Jeffrey Jones Played Suspicious Principal

POSTED: 12:03 a.m. EST November 15, 2002
UPDATED: 10:01 a.m. EST November 15, 2002

LOS ANGELES -- The actor best known as the suspicious high school principal in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" has been arrested for alleged ______ acts with a minor.

Police say 56-year-old Jeffrey Jones surrendered Thursday, one day after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He's scheduled to be arraigned next week.

In addition to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," Jones has appeared in the films "Beetlejuice," "Ed Wood" and "Sleepy Hollow" for director Tim Burton.

A noted character actor, Jones also played the emperor in the Oscar-winning film "Amadeus," Uncle Crenshaw in "Stuart Little" and a lawyer opposite Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves in "The Devil's Advocate."

Police began investigating Jones last November after a minor came forward. A search of his home turned up "numerous items of evidence" but police wouldn't elaborate.

Prosecutors say Jones is charged with having ______ with a 17-year-old boy and possessing child ography.

Yea I just heard this on the radio this morning going into work.

If he gets convicted, will disney be forced to re-shoot the ride footage?

Has anything like this ever happened before??

He's got a pretty heavy makeup job on that attraction, doesn't he?

I dunno. Yes, he's a perv, but I still love 'Beetlejuice' and 'Ed Wood'. Should they go back and digitally erase him from those movies as well?

On the other hand, what was the reason for getting rid of 'Captain EO'?

Two reasons:
1) It was hopelessly outdated, and they had a great new idea
2) Jacko is wacko (Though I think they removed EO before all the allegations against him, didn't they?) BTW, did you all see the sick story about Jackson dangling the kid out the window? They should take his kids away and lock him up. He is a seriously disturbed man. I was feeling sorry for him, thinking he was just mentally ill, but after he dangles kids out of windows - that makes me want to throw him in jail myself.

Nope, it was after but not immediately after. I specifically remember this because I was there when someone asked a cast member at the show if they were planning to close the attraction because Michael Jackson was in it and the cast member sort of blew them off with some canned line. They did replace it not too terribly long after but it isn’t like they shut the theater down because of the scandal. When they closed it, they were ready to start putting a new attraction in there to replace it and since what did replace it was a bit groundbreaking in the 3-D movie sense, I don’t think it was something that they slapped together at the last minute to get Michael out of there.

Like you said, Capt. EO was old. I’m pretty sure Michael was a few shades darker in that movie and sporting a nose that was different from what he had at the time of the attraction closing. Like the movie that was in there before it, I think it had just run the course.

LOL!

OK - So do you think they should change Alien Encounter?
