We have not been to WDW for just over two years, but last time we were there our cell phones did not work very well. We are with Verizon, and I am wondering if it has gotten any better?

I just leave mine on vibrate and keep it in my pocket because half the time I don't hear it when it rings.... one of the perks of old age I guess!Sprint & AT&T worked well too. Of course, please don't foget to turn off the ringer when on rides and in shows.
EDIT: Just wanted to let you know that some places, like the Whispering Canyon Cafe, don't take kindly to people using their phone during a meal...I've seen a gentleman escorted out and told to return when the call was over. :lookaroun
Also we had a boat captain refuse to pull away from the dock until this one guy hung up his phone (he was load and had been on the phone the entire time we waited for the boat)...he refused because he was on a business call. He and his family were escorted off the boat to the cheers of the rest of the passengers.
