Cell phone power cord

I left my power cord for my cell phone at the hotel we stayed in overnight. Any place on property I can buy a replacement or do I need to go offsite?

I guess you mean you left the power cord in another hotel offsite before you arrived and now you're on-site. Well, it depends on the brand/type of phone. If you have an iPhone, there's an Apple Store in Orlando or you can go to Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc. Not trying to be flippant but have you tried Google?

Yes , plenty of places to go offsite, I am asking if there is any place on site. I use the same cord that a blackberry would use , not an iPhone.

Don't know off the top of my head. Your best bet is calling WDW or looking up DTD stores on MDE.

You need a micro USB charger, and unfortunately no matter what type of charger you need there is not likely to be anyplace that has what you're looking for. You may (I stress MAY) be able to find one at the HESS across from DTD. I know all the gas stations here in Indiana carry those chargers.

Traveler tip: hotels accumulate tons of chargers. Don't feel bad taking one that's not yours if you see a jumbled mess. You can leave it in the room when you check out if you have karma issues. It's like those "leave a penny, take a penny" deals.

True, but the problem, no matter the type of phone is not the USB side of the cord that plugs into the charger but the other side that fits the phone. I have a charger but still need to bring my USB cord that fits a 5s at the other end. He would need a USB cord with a Blackberry connection on the other end.

I may have to just go offsite, I still have my car charger but that will get old running the phone out to the car.

?? o_O ??

He stated that he needed a power cord to charge his phone. A micro USB cord IS the end that plugs into your phone. The other end can either be a standard wall plug or a standard USB that plugs into a wall plug. He needs a micro USB plug regardless of the other end. If the other end has a standard USB end then he should be able to purchase the wall plug for it.

If you have the ability to go offsite then you can go offsite by DTD and there are tons of places out there where you can get this cord.

If you have the MDE app, assuming your phone still has a charge, look up "shopping" and filter on "cameras and media". Good luck!

Just like WDW used to carry different types of film, they probably carry chargers for multiple brands of phones, particularly if they are pushing their app so much -- they want you to use it.

^^^^^This...Disney has Wifi, a Mobile App, I would not be surprised if they sell it at the gift shop at the hotel.

Ask at the front desk of your resort at WDW. They may have some available for loan. People often leave stuff behind and it's not always possible to determine who left it.

This is correct. At most Disney resorts they have boxes full of every camera, phone, and rechargeable battery charger (also every laptop power cable, ethernet cables, etc.) imaginable and they let people use them for the length of stay. I've never taken advantage of/needed this but I've watched the box brought out for other guests at AKL and PoR.

Might I add @Monty, that with all your complaining about the wdwmagic mobile app, I find your advice giving on this matter to be the height of hypocrisy. :lookaroun

Where in Indiana? There is a large contingent of us here on magic.

I live in in Sellersburg. All of the Circle K's carry them.

I've never seen them sell chargers at the hotel. Your best bet would be Downtown Disney. You can also check Mousegear and anywhere they sell batteries or computer accesories.
