I love the whole Irony in the man from Vacation enjoying himself at Walt Disney World.

I think most celebs are fine if you treat them like normal people and don't idolize and be starstruck by them.

Celeb

Actually he was pretty friendly that day. I am sure it helped that no one else recognized him. I said hello not even noticing who he was when I was standing beside me. Then he turned and spoke and I knew it was him. He told me that his kids would be done with all the rides after a couple of more rides and he was ready to get out of there.

I completely forgot about a more exciting time seeing celebrities while in a park!!! :)

While at MGM Studios in January of 1990 (if I remember correctly), my family and I saw George Lucas, Jim Henson, and the cast of the New Mickey Mouse Club. They were all in a parade with the characters going down Hollywood Blvd. I have pictures of all of them. Chewbaca (sp?) was riding with Lucas and human sized Piggy and Kermit were riding with Henson. I am not sure why they were there at the time, possibly opening of Star Tours or Muppet Vision 3D. I can't believe I didn't remember that one :hammer: Maybe next week when I am there on spring break I will see someone else!

That is awesome, I am indeed envious of you, seeing two creative geniuses like that! Especially since Mr. Henson is no longer with us, unfortunately. Can you possibly post those pictures?

I will see what I can do about posting them. They are at home ( I am off at college) and I can try to get them scanned or something. They aren't great, but you can see still see them!!

I saw Jesse Jackson and an entourage of twenty people surrounding him like human shields emerge from some private entryway next to the gift shop "under" Spaceship Earth one time.

Cool, thanks! :D

A few years ago when I was visiting with my son, Dan Marino was there with his family. At the time, I was living in Rochester, NY which is Buffalo Bills territory, so we weren't big Miami Dolphins fans, but his son has Autism and so does mine. He has done a lot for the Autism community, so it was fun to see him there anyway!
Other than that, only celebrities starting the MK parade...like Willard Scott!
:D

Oh yeah...last year when we were at MK, Brer Bear and Brer Fox came and rode on Splash Mountain with a special child from some foundation similar to Make-A-Wish. Cool!

Just 11 days ago I was vacationing in the wonderful world of disney while I was at Magic Kingdom Micheal Eisner himself road thunder mountain the same time I did. I got to speak to him just a milli-second and suprisingly he was pretty respectful.

Also last year while I was on the WDW College Program I went over to goodings grocery store to cash my check and before the bus was to return I walk across the parking lot to by lunch at Taco Bell. I didnt pay any attention to any of the other people in the restaurant but after I ordered my meal and was getting ready to pay the whole $4.17 then all of a sudden a voice behind me said "No woman should pay for her own lunch or dinner out." then they handed over a credit card. I looked behind me to see who it was because the voice sounded very familuar, it was Arnold Swertznigger (Sorry if spelling is wrong). That is one experiance I will never forget.

When I went in February 1994, I was on Main Street U.S.A. and bumped into this guy who turned out to be Eddie Murphy's bodyguard. He had a whole entourage with him, I later saw him at Space Mountain going in the exit with all of them.

When were you there? Last time I went to DQ (October) I saw both Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis there. They actually were escorted right in front of us onto CyberSpace Mountain :).

I was a CM at DQ last year and saw a few:

Bruce Willis and ex Demy Moore w/kids at DQ. They were on Cyber Space Mountain. She is very short, you wouldn't recognize her if you saw her, you would think "She looks like Demy Moore, but shorter.)

Two of the cast of NYPDBLUE (maybe, if that is the one on ABC) they were down for an ABC meet and greet and were checking out DQ ( I got to speil them for PotC BfBG).

Montel Williams on Virtual Jungle Cruise.

While working at Spacehship Earth I saw Nicholas Cage, John Travolta, and Robin Williams!

I was told by AT&T employees that Michael Jackson rode Spaceship Earth in '99 after the park was closed.

I talked to CM's at HISTA who said that Rick Moranis is there a lot. I was told that he can be mean, and isn't proud of being known as the nerdy Professor Wayne Z!

Do Disney celebrities count? I was there for WDW's 25th celebration (the actual day of the ceremonies) and got some nice photos of Roy Disney, I chatted with Dave Smith and Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor, and even got a photo with Dic k Nunis! He was very nice about it. I asked if I could take his photo, and he had his assistant take it instead so that my wife and I could get in the picture. I also got a photo of Al Weiss and some other scattered celebs that day, if I recall correctly.

Us with Dic k Nunis. Sorry for the ppor quality. It's a 6-year-old scan, and I'd have to go digging to find the original to rescan.

I work at that taco bell for almost 2 years now and we never taken credit cards there also I think someone would have said something because we all got excited when chris from Nsync came in one morning.
