Celebrity Spotting..

I saw Mark Wohlers (Atlanta Braves closer in the mid 90s) at Downtown Disney in like 1999. It was during spring training, so I wasn't too surprised. I also saw quite a few Braves before one of the games, down by their dugout, but I guess that should definitely be expected.

Once I was eathing ice cream on the rocks that used to be part of 20,000, before it became Pooh, near Mad Tea Party and sitting on the opposite side of the rock was Warren Sapp (football player for the Buccaneers and Raiders). Growing up in Tampa this was a huge thrill, but he was sitting there eating some popcorn with his wife/girlfriend and kids so I didn't want to bother him.

Yesterday when i was at MGM Guess who i saw? Drew Carrey! he had his own show!

Huh? That wasn't me who saw Johnny and Orlando, unfortunately. The closest I've gotten to Johnny is living in his hometown.

I forgot to mention, I've seen Rare Earth (AWESOME) and Herman's Hermits perform for the Flower Power series. And I've seen a couple of celebrities doing the Candlelight Processional, but I don't remember who they were...so apparently they weren't extremely famous. We came VERY close to seeing Roy Disney do the CP, but a medical condition came up and he had to cancel

Last year in November at the Grand Floridian we saw Lt. Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis. I had never seen the show, but had seen commercials and remembered him from when he was on "Sisters" a hundred years ago !!! Also saw the boy band 98 degrees filming for the christmas parade probably 8 or 10 years ago.

We saw John Stamos and his posse at the California Grill one evening. And, several years ago, my daughter was in the hot tub at the Yacht Club w/ the guy who played Brad on Home Improvement

Just this past July we were doing some shopping at the gift shop at AKL when I almost ran smack into Vincent D'onofrio from Law and Order: CI. He was with his teenage daughter and doing his best in trying to get her out of the gift shop. He's such a hunk!

That's too funny. I read in one of those tabloid magazines (I want to say either OK! Magazine or Life and Style), that the youngest child on the show is really messed up, totally on drugs, and lost his house that's way over a million dollars.

That's totally awesome. I would probably start quoting Full Metal Jacket to him, but he probably gets that on a daily basis and wants to smack anyone that refers to him as Pile. LOL

Crazy, I could not agree with you more. I told my husband that would be one man I would leave him for! LOL Too bad I probably won't see anybody like this when we're down there - the actors are all filming their shows!!!

Spent a lovely time at the boneyard in AK with Jimmy Page and his family. I did not even get one picture! I wanted him to have the time to relax with his child or grandchild.

Seen lots during ESPN the Weekend.

But in December of '06 we were walking around the Poly and saw Scotty Bowman. It took everything I had not to go up to him.


I think only hockey fans will know who Scotty is, but since I live in Detroit he is only below Stevie Y here .

I saw them also! Another trip we were in Epcot and just missed a performance from Nsync, but saw Tyrese(?)... still not so sure who he is..

"Rapper" turned Actor .. he isn't bad at all, he was in Transformers (and Four Brothers)

I saw some skater that apparently was popular at Hard Rock (on the other "Orlando" property) however I don't have the slightest idea who he is, seemed nice, said "hey" as he passed. The large skateboard and a few followers gave him away though.

Theres also ESPN the Weekend, I took photos with Woody Paige (great guy) and saw Jerry Rice, Urlacher, and a few others.

I don't know how famous this guy is. I had no clue, but my wife knew who he was. His name is Andrew Dan-Jumbo and he was on that show "While You Were Out." We saw him at Epcot in October 2004. He was with an older lady in the Japan Pavillion. A few people were hounding him for an autograph. My wife just smiled at him and he acknowledged her with a smile back. Seemed like a very nice gentleman.

A few years ago we saw Kathy Ireland at MK. My wife didn't know who she was, but all my male friends were excited to hear my story when I returned to work.

In a related matter (and I apologize for getting slightly off topic), Keanu Reeves was sitting in front of us at the Nebraska-USC game last weekend in Lincoln. He had a full beard and his hat pulled down low and most people didn't recognize him for awhile. He was very quiet but very polite. We were talking to his friends quite awhile before my son recognized him. You wouldn't believe how many Moms who don't care about football wanted to hear my story.

Just wanted to add to this, I was at MNSSHP on 10/26 and saw Joey Fatone from 'N Sync, and recently Dancing with the stars at guest relation at the Magic Kingdom. Would have thought he would have an ABC cast card. No pic, didn't want to draw any unwanted attention to him. Cool to see someone famous.
