In response to the question if anybody has seen celebrities at WDW... our neatest celebrity sighting would have to be Robin Williams. He was checking in at the GF on the same day and at the same time as we were. When we got to our room, my DH went on the balcony and Robin Williams was two floors up and over a bit... he waved to my husband and me, and at other times waved to other of our family members.
We've also seen Barry Bonds, Kevin Bacon/Kyra Sedgwick, the Sultan of Brunei, Levar Burton (from Roots and Reading Rainbow), the guy and blonde singer from B-52's, Gary Sinise, and George Lucas. We also saw the guy who played Will Crusher on Star Trek Next Generation. Oh... and the guy who is Tad Martin on All My Children. We've seen more, but I can't think of them right now. It's pretty cool, but you know I try to remember that they are there on vacation, too so we don't bother them. If we can get an unobtrusive picture, we do (usually of them in the dark or their backsides when they are walking away!)... but generally not.
Celebrity sightings are pretty neat... but a lot of times they try to wander the parks incognito... but if you see a guest services guide in the parks (the guys in the blue trousers/skirts and plaid vests), do a double take and see if they could be escorting a star!
