Celebration cakes

I've heard that I can order celebration cakes at some sit down restaurants. Is this true? One of my friends will have her b-day when we are at WDW.

Does anyone know the cost?

For our anniversary, my wife called ahead to the pastry chef at Brown Derby and had them make a replica of our wedding cake top. I don't know what it cost though.

We go to WDW every year for my daughter's birthday, you can order cakes from any sit down restaurant. You can also order from the GF bakery (they only deliver to GF restaurants though, but you can pick it up if you like, they will box it for you) or the BW bakery (same rules there too, only delivery to BW area resorts). I have lots of phone numbers, where were you planning to order from? Our last cake was at 1900 PF and it was around $65 or so, but they offer a 6" non personalized cake at any restaurant for around $12.

Wow, that must be some pastry chef... I am reminded that i should order a cake for our anniversary for our next trip.
