Celebrate A Dream Come True Show Stops?

Are they still doing the show stops for Celebrate A Dream Come True? I heard about a month ago that the show stops might be cut this year.... Have they already been cut? or will they be cut?

That is a shame :-( I have not been able to see the parade but from what I could tell the show stops were the best part! :-(

Maybe they are gone because its off season and will return during the busy spring and summer season? Hopefully? lol

Nope, they're gone for good! The higher ups didn't like them apparently. In addition, the "Celebrate You" theme is now used for the Volunteer Cavalcade Pre Parade, so they didn't want to play it twice in one parade.

They were really awkward for the characters and dancers anyway. Was not sad to see them go. :wave:

Awwww I loved the showstops! And for anyone that said they didn't work obviously didn't get to watch the stepsisters rock out! They were hilarious!!!! Seriously I hate that the performers who play the Stepsisters won't get to do the showstop anymore because they were great! Hats off to any of the stepsisters, atleast they're still in the parade!

I agree about the awkward part it was like the dancers and characters were doing 2 shows at once. Plus one can only hear the word celebrate so many times during the parade. The show stop version of "Celebrate You" is my favorite version of the song it has a very similar beat as "Welcome".

Yes that is why I liked the show stops because it, for some reason, reminded me of "Welcome".

I had posted this in another thread about the Give A Day, Get A Disney Day Promotion ending but felt it was better suited for this thread. I am wondering now that the promotion is over will they get rid of the crappy pre parade and go back to the show stops for Celebrate A Dream Come True?

Haha! Well, as a good friend of the stepsisters, I can say we weren't too sad to see them go... heehee. The steps still rock out, don't worry!

Haha well the stepsisters make the parade! You guys are hilarious and the best characters!!! I'm glad the steps are still rocking out!
