Thanks so much!!!

Anyone have a guess on why their doing this? 4th Of July has passed and MK has never done this before. I Hope this is a new trend! I was hoping one day MK would be like DL was and have four parades a day plus fireworks, castle show and a street party to boot!

Does anyone have the new times for Dream Along? WDW's offical site has the new times for CADCT, but Dream Along is stilll at 5:15. I don't think that's right if Move It Shake It is at 5:30

Very strange and its not even That busy of a time of year.... There must be some reason why they are doing this. The only thing I can think of is some special event or group of people visiting?

They ran pretty much this same schedule during the week leading up to Easter due to expected crowds. I don't know if this is the same thinking, or if the recent really severe afternoon rainstorms central Florida is experiencing has something to do with this plan.

As for Dream Along, it might be running on the same schedule as Easter week in which case the first show was at 9:35AM and the last show was around 4:15PM. I think that is the schedule they did for Easter when MiSiCi ran at 10AM, 5:40 PM and 6:30 PM.

Another site has lot of info. Don't know if i can name the site so I will just post the info.

What Time is the 3:00 Parade? 12:00 & 3:30…

In a rather strange turn of events, the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade will be operating a bit off-schedule from July 18th-July 31st. You can catch the parade twice a day at the Magic Kingdom during this period at 12:00PM & 3:30PM.
As for the reasoning behind this, we have heard several different things. First, the Magic Kingdom is looking to see the impact this has on wait times for attractions around the park. If it distributes guests in a pleasant way, then we may never see a parade at 3:00PM again. Either twice a day performances or these new times may become the norm for parades.

Other rumors persist that this is in preparation for changes connected with a new parade coming in early 2012. Some Magic Kingdom cast members have been informed that the current parade will get another overlay/music change before the year is over and will then be finally replaced next year. Again, this should all be taken as a rumor for now.

Seems crazy to put/pay for another overlay for it then to be all changed 4/6/8 months later.

Just looked at MK’s Official Site to see if new times for Dream Along are up and they are. I LOVE this new schedule!!! Dream Along is now at 12:45, 1:45,2:45, 4:35,6:15 & 7:35PM. All right!! Dream Along Later in the evening! Maybe it’ll be after dark in a few months if this schedule holds!

That would be great if this were true ;)

12pm is a peak time for attractions and food/beverage. This will help with guest flow. Also 12pm typically doesn't see rain or thunder on average. Surprised it took this long for Entertainment to copy Disneyland.

While offering the parade twice a day is a nice offering for guests during the busy season, the fact that the parade is tired, old, and frankly quite boring doesn't necessarily mean a net improvement for the MK. This parade should have been replaced at least 5 years ago, but it keeps trudging along....:snore:

Twice a day vs once a day isn't a net improvement? Interesting math. It would be a much bigger improvement were it a better parade to start with, but two showings is still better than one.
