Sorry to say but I had to replace the NWA mix CD with my "Germans rock" mix cd...

Contains Rammstein mostly...with a lot of songs they remixed...the best of which being JBO - Ein bißchen Frieden (Rammstein-Version) (any song that uses a rubber ducky in it is OK in my book)....Germans kick ;)

Yep..you are eclectic...just like me ;) I personally wouldnt buy into "pop" however..but thats what makes us all individuals ;)

OF COURSE I am going to the Poison show!!! :sohappy: I went last year, took my daughter & we had front row, photo passes, after-party passes, etc. Warrant is one of her favorite bands, so she had a blast. This year, I'm looking more forward to the after-party, so my daughter is staying home. I cannot WAIT to see Faster Pussycat!

Saigon Kick has been one of my favorites since they first emerged on the local level. I cannot believe I missed their "reunion" last month. I still think they could've been huge...too much in-fighting.

I have to do the "pop" thing...I love to dance & I workout a lot. Pop music is AWESOME for that purpose. Everything that I listen to has a purpose, so I'm not as crazy as I seem. :D

Maybe I'll see you backstage ;) I was givin some VIP passes from a friend for the show...not 100% sure if im going to go yet...I dont really "fit in" with the glam croud anymore. Im not even sure what night of the week it is..I may have a gig for all i know..LoL (Notice how I am too lazy to get up and look at the tickets in the next room)...I was at the show last year..but my seats SUUUUUUCKED...i wasnt happy. I also was at the Saigon Kick show at the Mullet factory and quickly left because I kept getting stared at..had a fear that the white trash would beat my butt...

Hey...who am I to judge "pop" music...you know the type of crap I listen to ....most people would argue my stuff is worse ;)

Good...finally someone who went to the SK show! Maybe you can answer the question that's been killing me...with Phil being in Skid Row & Jason being hated by all members of SK, just who was playing??? I mean, I guess that leaves Matt & Tom, but I'm wondering who was with them. Were you there long enough for that?

You should definitely do the Poison show. Last year, I was shocked at the various different kinds of people I saw backstage there! Besides, I could use the company! Just avoid Rikki Rockett...he's a king sized jerk.

I was there for maybe an hour..saw about 5 minutes of SK..i didnt recognize ANY of them...how sad is that? In my defence..the fog machine was up waaaaay too high and i was in the back...

I may actually make a cameo at the poison show just because I have been told I need to go out more (thus why I was given the pass in the first place)...and dont worry..im sooo used to meeting these rock and roll jerks...Jannie Lane was the worst..but Im sure if i ever met Axl Rose or Diamond Dave...they would steal that honor of being "worst" ;) (too bad Axl is one of my idols)

Jani Lane is a SWEETHEART, Dan!! I met him at his now-no-more club in Orlando, at the Hard Rock in Orlando, a Denny's in West Palm & last year at the Poison show. As long as you catch him when he's not too drunk, he is great! I haven't met Axl & I don't think I'd want to based on what I've heard. DLR did a thing down here in like 1993 or 1994...the rock station here at the time, WSHE, had "Breakfast With Dave" at a Clock restaurant at the end of my street in Margate. The whole restaurant was closed down for the event & I skipped school to go. He was REALLY cool, but it was way too hectic to really get to chat with him or anything.

I'm not sure about the whole band, but Bill & CJ from Firehouse live in Sarasota. (I would sell my soul to Bill, but he's way too nice to take it) Bobby Blotzer's (Ratt) parents live down here. Phil Varone (Ex-Saigon Kick, now Skid Row) lives in Davie. Dee Snider was living down here, but he moved. Found him at a Taco Bell once. Alice Cooper has a place in Parkland. Adam Sandler has a place there, too. There's a ton of them down here.

Jani a sweetheart? i must have met him at a bad time then...if he wasnt "famous" i probobly would have kicked him in the junk...

We here in south florida have a TON of celebrities..its great...Alice Cooper is someone I see a lot at various places, as well as Steven Tyler (who here in florida HASNT seen him somewhere)...

Who else...

Well..up until a few months ago...Dave Thomas lived in Delray (his personal Wendys ROCKS...I still go there for that "perfect" burger)

Almost all of the old manson and the spooky kids still live here (contrary to popular belief..Twiggy does NOT live with manson over in cali)

Morbid Angel still lives in tampa..

As to those creed fellas (oh how i hate them)..they are tampa/orlando

And now rumor has it that we are going to be invaded by Rosie O Donnal (I cant escape her..she lived in my county in NY and now shes following me to south florida..grr)

 Anyone but Rosie!!!!!!!

I haven't yet met Steven Tyler. I feel so inept now. :( A friend of mine once found him at a music shop in N. Miami though.

I don't think Jeordie would ever move too far from here. He has way too many "people" here. I was shocked that Brian left, to be honest with you. I miss them being local...it all went downhill from there. The first time I met Brian, I was in 10th grade, having a hotel party & he was my best friend's date. He showed up in a lime green dress with Life Savers colored striped stockings, combat boots & a purse. Coming from a small town in Texas, I was freaked out. It didn't help that he spent the first hour there throwing Cheerio's into a fan to watch them explode & shoot. After the party got forcibly relocated to my house, he proceeded to steal the Baby Jesus from our outdoor manger as a new stage prop. I hear that that party made it into his biography, but I have yet to read it. Never a dull moment with all of them around!

Hmm..You dont happen to know a guy named Rik Marshall...do you? he used to hang with Brian a LOT back then....

That name sounds REALLY familiar. I'm better with faces than names, though. Around that time frame, I was really socially active & I knew just about everyone here.

I used to have a TON of Manson stuff...t-shirts, all the old newsletters, cassettes, stickers, pics & more. I spent a half year living in backwoods South GA (town of about 100 people & they ALL went to the same church). Well, my landlords let themselves into the house while I was away one day & took all of the Manson stuff & burned it. I was so angry, I moved the next day. I would give anything to have the old version of "My Monkey" again!! <Hint, hint...nudge, nudge> I liked it when they started putting their incoming answering machine messages on the B-sides of the tapes. Those were HYSTERICAL! All I have left now are some pics & letters from Jeordie.

Want a good laugh at my expense? Let me tell ya how I met Jeordie...I was working at a Dryclean USA in Coral Springs & he worked 3 doors down in the plaza at Little Caesar's. I saw him once & fell in love, so I went in everyday for a soda just to see him. Then, on Valentine's Day, WSHE was having a contest...call in & tell them who you want to give a dozen roses to & why. So, I called & told them about my "love thing" & that my crush was on Jeordie White from the locally popular AmboogALard. Well, I won. He got roses at work & then came to the drycleaners to thank me. Finally, we actually spoke! Never a dull moment...!

Rik is my keyboardist...he is 36 so uh..yeah..he has been around the scene for a loooooong time and has a bit too much of a history with Brian and the rest of the spooky kids. Chances are you have seen him before...almost everyone has.

Awwwe..thats such a sweet story on how you met him...beats mine actually...I met him out of a "scuffle" between my old band and a bunch of manson freaks. A little known fact is that Jeordie doesnt like brian any more than I do. I wont say WHAT he says..but it isnt kind ;)
