CD Box set info?????

Hey all I know this is a bit of a DL topic but I am sure WDW will have something to do with it also. But I wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about the 6 cd box set for the 50th? I know Grizz might be able to get some info from his good firend Randy Thornton about it;-) As we are just a few months away I was hoping someone might know something about it.

Here is what Mr. Thornton last said:

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know that the rumor about the Disneyland Boxed Set is false. The project has NOT been cancelled. As a matter of fact, I am in the studio this very minute working on it – and have been for the last two weeks and for several weeks yet to come. Soon, you’ll be able to take a Musical Tour of Disneyland and read all about The Sounds of Disneyland for yourself.

**Special Note**
For Disneyland Guests, the Boxed Set will also include a re-production of the "Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland" in 12" Vinyl (Gold Vinyl). The NATIONAL release of the Boxed Set will not include this re-production. Yep, I said NATIONAL RELEASE – Shortly after the debut at Disneyland (a brief window of exclusivity), the boxed set will be available Nation-Wide.

For xfkirsten - The release date could be as early as mid-April, but definitely by 05/05/05

Will you be able to get this through Disneyland DeliverEARS with the special added CD?

Is the extra CD a limited thing? Like, if I can't make it to CA until this time next year will it still be available? I really want this set, extra CD included. But, if I won't get the extra CD anyways, there's no point in waiting nearly a year longer than I'd otherwise have to.

Someone at magicmusic.net was saying $100+ in the parks, but that it would include a nice coffee-table-quality book as well.

What's on the 6-disc box set? Is ti music from the parks or disnye music in general fromtheir films?

It'll be Disney park music (specifically Disneyland), although exact tracks aren't known to us at this point.
