CBR room updates

I had read somewhere that they are starting to put queen sized beds in some of the rooms at CBR and that it wont be complete until next spring. Does anyone happen to know which island of the resort they started doing this in? We are going to Disney at the end of august and we usually stay in Martinique, kind of hoping they started with those rooms! Thanks!

I have heard rumors of this, but is there confirmation? This would be wonderful news. We loved everything about CBR except the beds.

I thought I heard they had already started in Jamaica, but I'm not sure about that!

They started in Jamaica 41 and have completed 2 or 3 buildings. The last one (45) is currently being gutted. All of Jamaica should be done for sure before your trip. We are going Aug 24-30 and have requested Jamaica!

That's great because, in my opinion, Jamaica and Aruba are the two best buildings, right by the footbridge and a short walk to the food court and main pool area.

Apparently all non-pirate rooms will have 2 queens or a king by spring. And many of the queen rooms are getting pull downs to accommodate a 5th guest like Alligator Bayou! Great news.

Found pics of the new rooms. Nice new beds, new entertainment units/dressers, and sliding privacy doors like Coronado has!

Does anyone know of a renovation schedule? We've booked a preferred room in late December, but if they won't get there by then, I'd rather save the money and stay in a nicer room.

Slightly off topic but I was futzing around the site for the new four seasons on property and was amazed their rooms are mostly either 1 king or 2 doubles versus 2 queens. For that money.
