CBR question?

im taking the family to WDM in early december and have made reservations at the CBR.I have 2 kids,only thing im worried about is the size of the resort.If for some reason we get put at the farthest point from the food court,how long of a walk are we looking at to get there,and if u drive a car to the resort,do u park at the custom house or is there parking closer to the room your staying in.thnx for any info on this.

Welcome Taz!

You will check in at the Custom House and then drive your car to your specific island. So that's easy.

If you are the farthest rooms away, probably in some sections of Trinidad South and Barnados, expect a 7-10 mins walk, but a beautiful walk. If you want to be right on top of everything and not experience the Resort for what it is--pretty and large with much to see--go for Trinidad North or Martinique. And in the middle, where we always stay, is ARUBA and Jamaica. Those are my picks b/c you get to wlak over two wooden bridges, through a bamboo forested island with tropical music and parrots, and its quiet!!! So I would go there where the wlak is maybe 5 mins.

Beautiful wherever you are!! And the Christmas decorations are unlike I have seen, very Island style.

I hope you ahve a GREAT trip, which I know you will at Caribbean Beach, my fmailies most favorite Resort, 12 times now!!!!

I think they also have a bus that takes you to the custom house, but I'm not sure. You just go to your bus stop where the buses to the parks pick you up and it should be around. I was there in May this year, but I never took the bus to customs, I just walked. I was in Aruba and the walk wasn't bad at all, it was very pretty. Oh and there is parking at the custom house as well, just not sure how much parking. Hope that helps!

thank u very much for your replys.7 to 10 min walk is fine with me.some of the reviews i have read had me worried,they made it seem like it was for ever to walk to the food court.7 to 10 is nothing compared to what we will walk in the parks.and being able to park the car at the island we are staying at is great .i wasnt real keen on leaving my car at the custom house and not being able to keep an eye on it,and having it close, the onstar onboard will make it nice to make phone calls if need be.Thanks again for the replys,u have eased my mind greatly.Now if the time would come so i could leave i would be happier
