CBR Guest Re-Location

I keep reading about the CBR guests being moved to other hotels.
I have a few questions.
1)Why is this happening in the first place.?
2)What is the duration and timing of the re-locates?
3)How many guest are affected?
4)Was this a last minute decision by Disney to do this?
5)How do they determine who goes where?

1. Disney has decided to renovate part of the CBR, and they felt it was best if they close the entire resort while they work.
2. I'm not sure, anyone wanna clue us in?
3. Any guests who had reservations for CBR during the time that renovations will be going on.
4. Define last minute! :lol:
5. They are giving guests a choice among the other moderate resorts, or giving them a small discount on a deluxe resort.

The resort has been undergoing renovations room by room, building by building.

I believe that all rooms have been done. The main building with the restaurants and shopping areas is being completely remodeled with a new restaurant. Instead of having people go to other resorts for food, etc, the entire resort is being closed.
