When I stayed at CBR 7 years ago, I remeber it took forever to check in and get a ride to Aruba. Is it still so slow?

It depends on how busy the checkin areas are when you arrive. I have had zero waits, through to 20mins or so, so just like an attraction wait-time, it can be varied.

Have a great stay at CBR! :)

I'm a bit frightened of this myself...we stayed there in '99 and it was one of only two complaints we had on the whole trip (the other being the shuttle bus transport from the airport). I really put myself out on a limb convincing my family that we needed to stay there again for our January '04 trip. I'm hoping that because of the rehab a few years ago and the fact that we'll be taking a private shuttle van this time and not arriving with a bus-load full of other guests, that it will be a more pleasant check-in.

I had a zero wait and was very glad for bellhop service, as i was in jamacia. It should be fine if you like CBR.

We had a bit of a wait when we checked in during October 99. I want to say there were 8-10 families in line before us. But this really wasn't much different than when we checked into POFQ or Boardwalk.

We got their pretty early in the day, around 10 am, and couldn't get into our room yet. So we left our bags with bell services and just grabbed the first park bus to come by. We ate lunch and spent a few hours at the park, then took the disney bus back to CB. Went right to our room, called bell services, and had our bags delivered within 10 minutes.

I was there this past July (busy season) and there was not one person in line to check in when we got there. We got there around 11 a.m. and then jumped on the Barbados (i think) bus to DisneyQuest. The whole thing took less than a half an hour. -Stephanie

As long as you get there during the day, there should not be too much of a problem.

Our only trip that we flew, we arrived at 2am and the helper and the CBR shuttle were out. We waited 10 mins, then being the pros that we were, walked to ARUBA. Big mistake as Barbados in the nighttime when very tired is like a maze. We had a good laugh though.

I wouldn't worry. Ever since its massive renovation, CBR has improved tenfold!!:xmas:

In May of this year, we walked in, checked-in, and walked out in five minutes. It was really fast. I forget what time it was but I am pretty sure it was after noon.:)

we stayed in June and everytime i needed something at check-in there was less then a 2 minute wait, ... to check in (and they let us check in really early) there was no wait. To check out there was no wait, and when i needed to get E-ride tickets, i never had to worry about waiting, it was nice:sohappy:
