Cruising on the Disney dream in August. We were not given a room number but told we were category 8a. There are only 12 rooms on the whole ship in this care frog and they seem to be the handicap accessible rooms. Can anyone give me more info?? Thanks!

I asked a similar question earlier this month. I was basically told that you will either be assigned to this room category (room number given about a month before) or you have the chance of being upgraded.

There are some awesome 8A's. They're like mini suites. Some have no tubs which I wouldn't like, and none have split baths. But they're quite large and you may get a great one if you're not upgraded. I have a picture of one, let me see if I can find it.

Well, I found it, but I just googled it to make sure it was okay to post and she's watermarked them now. So I'm assuming she will not want me to post it.

But really, there are some good ones. Some have a divider wall and two TV's like 5522.

Thanks for your help! You really do know everything about Disney cruises! I'm happy that these rooms look larger and hopefully with a little bit of pixie dust well get upgraded! That would be a great first cruise experience! Ahh I can't wait to go!!!
