Castle without the 50th BLING

Does anyone have pictures of the castle today 4/13/023? Just curious how the sun drenched roofs and castle walls handled the fading of the 50th bling. They are hoping that the fading doesn't look that bad in order to keep from repainting the castle.

There doesn’t seem to be any ill effects so far around pieces that have bee removed.

When I was there on Thurs, the only thing taken down was the 50th logo

I thought it was due to the pandemic situations they made the decision to not put it up..Our only guess is a crane by october..

Is the idea to go back to the "normal" design, or is this current design with us for the foreseeable future? I know in the past when they have changed it to a cake design etc they have always gone back.

I know many of the Disney super fans loved the lights on the castle in past years (myself included), but I gotta tell you, as we were there the past two holiday seasons without the lights, honestly, IMHO, the castle looked much more elegant without the lights…I NEVER thought I’d say this, but with those lights, the castle just looked like the Griswold house…I like it much better the way it is now, just return to the old colors…rose gold was so 2020…lol

I agree with the way they do projections they could always just mimic what was there either or at least we wouldn't have to see the big crane as annoying as a big wand...
