Actually, there IS a contest for DVC members. You win a week at one of the DVCs (forgot which one) and a night in the suite. We're entered! :D

On nearly all nights, guests are allowed to remain in certain areas of the parks (i.e. the Main Street/Hub area at MK) for 30 minutes to an hour after offical park close. Sometimes even longer.

Thanks, I know that it must have sounded like a stupid question.... I'm going to try and stay after they close when I go in April... :brick:

A little thing they do about 1/2 an hour after the park closes. The castle is lit up and there is a special goodnight message. Nothing too stellar or mind blowing but it is nice nonetheless.

Here is a video of it
kiss goodnight

Thanks for posting that Master Yoda, all the years going there, I've never seen that or I thought that was "secret disney talk" for Wishes. It gave me goosebumps...:) +

Thanks Again,

As others have said, it starts 30 minutes after park closing, and I believe it runs every 15 minutes after that until 60-90 minutes after park closing. (And if the park is open late for a special event like the Christmas or Halloween parties, it won't occur until closing time at the end of the parties)
