I know this may seem a bit of an odd request...and it is! but does anyone have pictures of the lights that illuminate the castle at night?? I have always been amazed how the entire castle is covered with such rich light!

The actually lights.
They are located on the bank of the moat in 4 places. As well as two behind the clock tower, one on each side of the clock tower, 2 on top of Tink's treasures, 2 on top of Sir Mickey's. They are all over.

They are not led's. No led is that bright (yet).

Okay...Boo is correct in the placement.
They are NOT LEDs.
They are Vari-Lite Irideon AR500s.

They are Cyan-Magenta-Yellow color mixing fixtures. Stationary, and they are TANKS! You can also find these at Fantasmic!, Fantasia Mini-Golf, Planet Hollywood, etc etc etc among others.
The moving lights are twelve High End Cyberlight Turbos in Tempest Hurricane Enclosures. These provide all gobos and effects for the Castle.
In addition, there are also 3 Highend Outdoor Dataflash strobes...and 4 Diversitronics strobes on the Clocktower level.
As far as the "star strobes" that are also mentioned in this discussion. There are many strobes that do not work on the Castle and have no been replaced to do size, budget, and the simple thought that one or two out will not have an effect on the overall look. It also looks like there are more on the stage, because they are newer (their plastic covers haven't been faded and nasty yet...making them duller), and clustered together.

And as an FYI, ETC no longer makes the Irideon AR500s which makes me wonder what they will be replaced with? They are truly spectacular.

Unless it's been upgraded, the Spaceship Earth lighting isn't as sophisticated as the Castle's. Then again, it doesn't need to be because it doesn't have any shows associated with it that require many lighting schemes.
It's simply a number of flood lights with glass filters. Because each fixture is only a single non-changing color, the only way to change colors is to fade from one set of lights to another. There are lighting positions in six locations: above the turnstiles, on the roofs of the buildings on either side of the entrance plaza, the buildings on either side of SSE, the northern ends of Innoventions and above the corporate lounge at the back of SSE. You can see the turnstile lights as you leave the park, and some of the other postions as you ride by on the monorail.
