The simple answer is that they haven't figured out a way to make the lights a revenue generator.

Look at how most deluxe resorts now have gingerbread displays. It's no coincidence they all have kiosks selling gingerbread creations right next to them. DHS has more Christmas decor than it had before (not counting the Osborne Lights era) because of Jollywood. Very little is done in terms of decor unless it can be monetized.

I think it's safe to bid adieu to the light nets. Logistically they aren't cost effective to keep damaging the fiberglass and plaster facade each year.

I really, really miss the dreamlights. The projections don’t do anything for me and I wish Disney would bring back the large scale light displays (that aren’t World Celebration gardens).
