Rumor from a year or two ago had them adding lights to the back of the castle as well as continuing them down Main St. Anyone know if this is happening this year?

Hmm I know DL got this last year, the snow effect was all around the castle its first year but had no lights on the back but it did have snow, the 2nd year they expanded the snow lights with the LED embedded all around the turrets and such along with the icicle lights.

Last year they also added LED lighting in all the Hub trees, Main Street Garlands(the ones that cross the street), and the new X-mas tree taking on another 70,000 LED lights.

Well....Where were our castle lights to begin with? Were they on any part of the back? I saw them adding some to a lower back turret just yesterday!

Hopefully there added to the back this year, its impressive from the front with a great character show and all, but when walking to Liberty Square is kinda like "Huh?!?!"

Those pics that were taken at 5 a.m., were they just testing the Christmas lights at that time? Do they have them on for the majority of the overnight or at certain portions of the overnight where you just have to be lucky to view them? I'm assuming that this week/next week (while the crane is there) there's a good chance to see them lite up again.

I do believe that they had them on all night. The first picture I shot around 2:30 AM after the park closed (1:00 AM). In the morning they were still on around 6:30 when it started getting light out. The crane came down around 7:45 for the park open at 9:00.

According to several Twitter reports a crane is present at the MK NOW.:dazzle:
