Sorry, when I said breakfast I didn't mean a huge meal. I meant a bit of fruit and water etc.

Carbs, you want carbs before a race. Which is why I suggested a granola bar. But if it's fruit, a banana is a good choice. Make sure to hydrate the day before. When we said hot, it's hot.
