Cast Memeber Entrance

Never been there... but I'm assuming that's the way it would go... you should probably have your maingate with you... but I don't think entrances at other parks cost against your maingate. I know they don't at Disneyland, but you do need it to get in.

You need to show your Main Gate at a Ticket Window to get your Cast Member Tickets. It does count as a Main Gate Use.
I think it does but ... here is the thing. I think it is seperated into DL, WDW and DLP when it comes to Maingate uses.

Why I think this: I've been to Disneyland MULTIPLE times and it has never been counted against my maingate, even with the new computer system.

I would take your maingate AND your id (of course you'll need that anyways) but have a contigency plan just in case.

It doesn't hurt to always be prepared.

Ditto what Angel said. Just be prepared to buy tickets if they say your usage is up (just play dumb, they certainly wouldn't (couldn't) think any less of you as an american tourist).

At DLR's proper entrance (front of the park) they'd sometimes run off to verify my pass or something, but never deducted any days. At the DCA side-entrance for GCH they literally looked at it and handed me the number of tickets i wanted.

Merf and Angel have it right. It's all due to incompatibility of systems since Disneyland Paris and Disneyland don't use the same ATS system that WDW does.

I'd still take your id. They usually need to see that along w/your maingate. Just to be safe I'd take anything you'd use to get into the parks w/your maingate here...

Nah. Licenses to the software are expensive. In many departments that require the use of ATS, each individual CM has to request the access and explain why they need it.
