Been searching the forum trying to find what benefits an CM gets when hired. I have discovered that some benefits depend on your status, but in general everybody gets the following:

1 - Unlimited admission to all the parks.
2 - X number of visits for you and your family members.
A) What defines family members? Children under 18 or 21 with proof of college and spouse.
B) My full grown children and my Grandchildren? They do not count.
3 - Discounts at the resort hotels.
Not sure on the following

4 - Cruise Discounts?

5 - Merchandise Discounts?
Varies from place to place and length of employment.

6 - WDW Golf Course Discounts?

7 - Dining Discounts?
Yes Varies from place to place

8 - Medical Insurance---All 3 are available
Health, Dental and Vision

9 - 401K setup with profit sharing or matching 401k deposits?

Since I have looked all over the place for this information, Maybe somebody can post a list of benefits in one single post.

Hope someone answers your question since I'm interested in the benefits and costs of the medical, dental, and vision for my husband and myself.

The only reply I have gotten about the insurance was;
Medical is one policy
Dental/Vision is another policy
All they said was that it is Pricey. No numbers so I do not know what Pricey exactly means.

the prices vary greatly depending on the plan you want, how many family members you are covering, and whether you are part time or full time. they can start as low as $14.50 a week for just the part time cast member BUT the co-pays for that premium are very high. and it is Limited Medical Coverage that is not comprehensive medical coverage. It has a basic annual maximum benefit of $1,000 per year, per covered individual. The BasicMed plan is primarily a sickness and accident benefit. As such, routine adult physical exams are not covered, while medical services such as doctor’s office visits, prescription drugs, x-rays, lab work and emergency room visits are covered. The BasicMed plan does cover well-baby check-ups and children’s physical exams for children up to the age of 16. Like I said there are other options but the price goes WAY!!! up from there.

I found at least 5 different plans so I am only posting the very basic and its cost

i can't the get the vision and dental areas of the hub to open. I may have to be at Disney to do that. I am getting error messages. I know the dental we looked at was very reasonable

Congrats! I'm sure you'll make one of the best bus drivers that Disney has. Let me know how your traditions training goes. Looking forward to 9 weeks from now so I can get started. Again congrats
