DS is a big fan of chili dogs, but not cheese, so thats on his to do list!! What did you think of the pulled pork and slaw dog? Would you recommend it?

We didn't try it but it looked awesome! We wanted to try it but knew it would ruin us for dinner. They also offer what appeared to be the same hot dog at Fairfax Fare at DHS. Ah yes, another item for next year.

One Little Spark...
First, I'm not a fan of the dogs at Disney...it's the meat. I find the dog itself bland.

That being said, Casey's is definately the best place, since it's their specialty. I've had them there and Fairfax Fare, and I prefer Casey's.

On this last trip I tried the Mac and Cheese dog with Truffle Oil. (yeah, I know I said I don't like dogs at Disney, but they get me every time!). It was ok. Certainly large enough that two people could split it (and that's what I did, split it with my daughter). Also a fork dog (one that needs a fork to eat), unless you want that creamy mac&cheesy goodness all over your clothes (or plate).

I love hot dogs, but they HATE me!! We planned a few breakfast ADRs this year so I could try some wonderful CS's thoughout the parks. Tamie, you have to see my food review list, and DH is already turning green LOL. I take a bite of things and hand it over for him to finish. So HE will need the elastic pants LOL

Yup, that happened ALOT during this vacation. DH ended up with half my lunches, some of my drinks, half of my desserts. I felt bad because I don't think a night went by that the bottle of Pepto Bismol wasn't sitting out on the bathroom counter after being used sometime during the night.

Same here. I get the idea of 100% beef - it's kosher, and not all people like to dig on some swine. But to quote Vincent Vega "pork chops taste good, bacon tastes good".

Yes, hot dogs comprised of grains, mechanicaly seperated meat, and dry milk are not good, but a good beef pork mix - I like that. So if they are going to put pulled pork ON the dog, why not put some pork IN the dog?

certainly highly debated...

on a personal level, I agree they are bland but not terrible. This is especially true considering it's Disney, where food can be iffy at times.

I think they load them with toppings to mask that blandness, but I do not mind.

I like a nice beef dog, with a natural casing... just my 2 cents
