I love the slaw dog as well and have made them at home, everyone here couldn't believe I went to all the trouble to make the pulled pork and then served it on hot dogs with the slaw, we've served slaw on our pulled pork sandwiches for years and wouldn't eat it any other way, at Casey's on a dog, sublime!

Yay for a solo trip! I have been solo 5 times in the last 4 years. They are amazing
Everyone thinks that I am nuts and that I will get lonely. I think I will have a blast and enjoy myself because I am not going to have to worry about what everyone else wants to do. I am very excited about it the only thing I think will be weird at first is eating in a table service by myself but hey I won't know anyone so who cares.

I don't disagree with anyone on here as the Chicago style dogs are popular. I am a very picker eater(no onions, etc) and I know that Casey's used to have all beef hotdogs. I can remember reading that they no longer serve all beef hotdogs. All I would like to see is an all-beef hotdog option on the menu, I'd gladly pay an extra dollar for an all beef dog!

I haven't noticed that much of a change meat-wise at Casey's....and the bun only seems larger if you don't get any toppings on it, because it IS larger. You don't have to eat the whole bun. Now, you want a really really terrible hotdog, try Casey's at Disneyland Paris -- virtually identical physically, the hotdogs there taste like, well, not hotdogs...

I'm not sure Paris "gets" the hot dog. My wife and I got one in paris about 8 years ago, from a street vendor, and it was bizarre. The roll was long, with a cylindrical hole in it. He removed the hot dog from some kind of container like the kind barbers keep their combs in, using tongs, and slid it into the hole in the bun. Way to go - take the hotdog and make it even MORE of a double entendre.

It tasted terrible. Actually, not terrible, but very, very different from what we were expecting.

Just take lots of notes at the table, and people will think you work for one of the guide books!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I know I would.

When I tell people I travel to WDW solo they look at me like I am crazy and I get 20 questions. However, as a solo traveler to WDW I can say it is amazing. You are on your own time and only responsible for yourself. It does get somewhat lonely standing in line or eating dinner but in most cases, familes and CMs will make conversation. I am more of a loner and like to sit back and people watch and enjoy being at WDW. I did Ohana solo and my waitress when out of her way to make my dinner special and the woman performing even gave me a solo perfomance - I am sure she does this to everyone but hey I felt special, lol

We need time for things to happen.
I have to say - The pulled pork dog is ON POINT. Great dog. Right amount of topping and bun to meat ratio is great.

The toppings bar is excellent as well. I have to make a point to stop and get just a plain dog next time and build my own this September.

It has been a very long time, but I remember loving the hot dogs in Paris. I remember it being a baguette with a hole in the middle and then they would take the dog, dip it in super hot Dijon mustard and then in the baguette. Yum. :)

Back on topic, I have never eaten a dog at Casey's because of its location. Main St. is someplace I see entering and leaving the park and I have already eaten at these times. I really want one of those pulled pork and slaw dogs though.

Keep Moving Forward
You'll find that pretty much everywhere on property is on the DP now, with the exception of the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin.

I had to double check so I wouldn't get my hopes up the Waffle Sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow aren't on the DDP. :( I'm debating paying OOP to try one anyway.

Just so everyone knows how serious ketchup and hot dogs are, here in Chicago, there are hot dog places that will either refuse to put ketchup on your hot dog, or don't have it at all! LOL

My 2 favorite places are Hot Doug's, who serves crazy flavored dogs and has duck far fries! OMG

My other favorite is Wiener Circle, which is owned by really ghetto black people who mess with you on purpose and get all ghetto in your face and vulgar! It's hysterical! I will try and find a video for you guys!

The hot dog place near us has one called a PB&J Crunch: a hot dog with peanut butter, grape jelly & Cap’n Crunch cereal. But as I said, they need to get better dogs. Maybe they have since they opened.
