Carsland to Avengers Campus path closing

On Tuesday the path that connects carsland to avengers campus is closing until next summer. On the plus side they are building another restroom which is much needed since the one currently in AC almost always has a line.

WTH does that pathway always close whenever I get an AP/MK? Sigh, it makes GotG really far from everything, especially RSR.

As noted, that's really gonna add to the walk. But makes sense if it's part of the expansion construction.

Also makes sense why they recently took down the sign on that path promoting Stark cars as you head from Cars Land into Campus. I was wondering why they removed it.

I measured it on Google Maps and it will be an extra 640 feet from RSR.

Is it really only 640 feet from RSR around the front of Cars Land, down the parade route, into Campus and back down to the bunkers?

I mean, I can do it - I average 8-10 miles of walking on a park day - but I use that route from the pier through Cars Land and into Campus a lot.

I think that was for the expanded Cozy Cone seating.

That's when they pulled it, but I thought it would have made more sense to leave that sign up on the path to Campus rather than the Cars Land/Mater one they did. But if they knew the path was closing for a year of construction, then the choice makes more sense to not advertise what is blocked off.

No, it's not. I said "extra" 640 feet, meaning if you go around the route you just laid out it would be 640 feet longer than if you went the route they are closing from Cars Land to Avengers Campus.
