In this pic you can see the roadbed they are laying for the track! From the looks of it, that's the first of the bunny hills in the high speed section of the ride before the track turns to dive down into the caverns. It also lines up perfectly with the model many of us saw in the Parks & Resorts Pavilion at D23 Expo.

And with that first bit of contoured track being established in the dry Anaheim soil, Radiator Springs Racers has begun! :sohappy:

It's not for the track, it's foundation. Before they can build a roadbed, they need to build the "Base" of the Mountain structure. It is does show off that "line" of the mountain really well, where the straightway will be.

I wonder how thats going to be transported to the resort, it can probably be taken apart. And to think its only 1 track in the pictures theres parts of the ride with 2 tracks side by side.

Rumor says Carsland construction will move into DCA in Sept. taking over, Farmers Market, San Andrea's Shakes, P.T Fleas(which will be relocated/themed to Paradise Gardens), and The Bugs Land farm gardens. This will be for Mator's Junkyard Jamboree, as well as the main street for Cars land will sit on top of the current Farmers Market. I imagine this will also effect the parade route once again.

Some brackets have popped up on the foundation, not installed yet.

Aw, I will miss the gardens in Bug's Land. Simple, but cute. Love that each little garden is themed to a Bug's Life character.. Oh well, definitely looking forward to what is coming (Carsland!).
