I said this article appears to merely take online posts. Most articles take more. Now I can’t remember whether that was because she did that intentionally or if it’s because of AI which takes from multiple articles across the internet (the discussion about this in the box office thread was a while ago) but they do take from other articles.

That being said:

• The clickbait title is wrong in implying the $17B was just for Cars.
• Why does such an article need to tell the entire story of Disney parks starting with Disneyland? I'll tell you... fill her quota of words. Since this phrase: "many fan don't like RoA being replaced with a Cars IP ride" isn't enough words for a paycheck, she adds a history lesson. I hope Forbes enjoys spending money on a article written like a high school Freshman padding their homework because of a requirement to make their essay three pages long.
• It's not *IRONIC* that Disney is replacing a ride after Iger boasting about so much space. Iger never promised that using that space (which they are for Villains Land) precludes replacements. The actual sentiment counts, not the way people twist it to declare BETRAYAL!

To be fair to this author, she surprisingly relays fairly the other sides of this brouhaha. But she uncritically accepts all sides' points of view. At least she met her word-quota.
