"Cars" Monorail "Wrap"

Hinted a few days ago by Al that a Monorail would receive a "wrap". Monorail Orange now has "eyes" similar to the ones seen on different sets of Cars merchandise.

I'v heard that Monorail Blue has the eyes as well. So more than likely Monorail Red as them too.

Cute idea, I would love to see it expanded to the trams and the Toy Story buses.

Previously when DLR had the Mark V Monorails we saw, a Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage one. During the Year of a Million Dreams we had 2 wrapped in YOAMD clouds, and pixie dust.

I think it looks as silly as it does because it is on a Disneyland Monorail. Aren't they designed differently? This would look great on the WDW MR cab windows.

Yep, you're right. Ours look different from the ones in Florida. Ours are more narrow in the front, which is why it looks funny looking.

It looks like the blue monorail has its "mouth", but the orange monorail doesn't yet.

Here to welcome their “Cars” friends to Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park, Mandy and Mona Monorails began making trips around the resort yesterday – and they will soon be joined by a third friend, Manny Monorail. You can tell each by their colors: Mandy Monorail is blue, Mona Monorail is orange and Manny Monorail will be red.

If you notice now (as both Blue and Orange have their full faces), Mandy and Mona have crooked eyeballs on one side. The color shading and the eye reflection is off on one side.

I look forward to Manny though, I wonder how he will look.

Hmm I like the non wrap look, but it's a cute idea for the opening of Cars Land. Not to mention hilariously cute when the Monorail narration refers to the older Monorails as uncle, and the East Shuttle Area's buses and the Subs as friends.
