I know that Cars Mania or cars Land is going to DL or DCA, But are there any plans for it to come to WDW at all?

BTW: If this is in the wrong spot, please move it mods.

I don't think there are any plans for it to come here besides maybe having a cars ride added to Pixar Place. (Or some other Pixar ride added to Pixar Place...)

What I at least hope is that they don't add any characters to Test Track ,even though its story-line may be bland.

Well, knowing disney they may make test track a Pixar ride, bur probably not because Epcot isnt very Disneyish to me. This is because alll the rides have nothing to do with disney, same with Animal Kingdom.

Well, Test Track is sponsored by General Motors, so they would have to approve any kind of retheme. But I do love the industrial and modern feel of Test Track.

All the rides have nothing to do with Disney? SSE is a pretty classic "Disney" ride, IMO . . . maybe you're referring to the rides not having animated characters from movies in them? To me, for an attraction to be "Disney", has more to do with how immersive it is. For example, the Haunted Mansion, SSE, Everest or American Adventure are way more "Disney" than the Flying Carpets over Agrabah.

I think you can only call original rides or classic rides disney, (I dont see how u can call Everest Disney when its a mountain in Southern Asia) or the ones that have to do with the disney movies i consider disney.beacuse when you ask soemone on the street
"When you think Disney, What do yo think?"

Hahaha, after posting i realized that:p

But i said, Hey, more attention for the thread!

But youll have to live with the guilt of all the crushed hopes of expectant people opening the thread. You are truly evil and I hope your next poo is a hedgehog and that you smell of elderberries.

I would like to see Speedway get a Cars overlay and be annexed into Toon Town. At least it would give that giant waste of space a theme since it probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

I saw the mention of all of the new attractions and shows that are going into DCA in my latest DVC magazine. I thought to myself well I guess this is where the Billions of $ are going into DCA to make people wanna go to that park ,since there are not going now. I don't think that those attractions will come to WDW but not for a long time . To boost up the attendance numbers DCA needs a lot of help and thats the direction I think Disney is gonna go, exclusive new attractions. WDW already got a great ride from DCA if they take others again why go to DCA. I am looking forward to when those new attractions are finished , Myself being in NY I wanna see more attractions new to my family when we do make that trip to Disneyland and DCA for the first time. I would almost be like when we first went to WDW back in 2000 after not being there for 15 years.

According to a castmember that is why they also don't sell car's Merch there because of GM because most of the cars I believe are fords or something ...or some other brands and they don't want that. Because I remember when the movie came out I was looking for some merch. and they said that they don't tell them because they aren't GM. There is a Hummer and a Jeep in the movie?? Don't GM Make those?? I thought GM was leaving?? Because in all footage that you see of test track they blur out the symbol of GM, maybe its because they need to ask GM to use the logo in footage:shrug:

I agree with whoever said the Tomorrowland Speedway should be re-themed to Cars. Seems like a match made in heaven -- especially since a race track isn't very tomorrowy.

Yeah, but the line is awlays SOOOO crowded for that ride.

NOTE TO DISNEY: make it a fast pass attraction.

The Speedway could easily be annexed into Fantasyland. The entrance sits right between the Mad Tea Party nd the Sonny Eclipse restaurant..

DL's Matterhorn was originally a Tomorrowland attraction, but its now considered Fantasyland (it sits in that same no-mans-land between TL and FL).

I was surprised that DL did not annex the new Nemo Submarine Voyage into Fantasyland. Although the queue building is undeniably in TL, the queue starts next to the Matterhorn. With an elaborate grand entrance, they could have easily made Nemo Subs a FL attraction.
