That's the thing that people are forgetting big time about Cars: The summer isn't the ideal spot for films with legs and back in the previous Pixar film runs, CG animation wasn't in the over saturation point that it is right now. Cars is doing very well if you factor in all of the things stacked against it. I think Pixar has peaked as far as grosses go for a while. But if they keep churning out $200 million grossing films with a ton of merchandising, I'm sure Disney won't be shedding any tears.
