carry on bag

I was curious as to what size limits there are on carry on bags. We are going to be getting in way before check-in time, and probably be heading towards DTD and maybe some miniature golf. I was thinking about just putting what we might need until our luggage gets there in a book bag and just carrying that around with me. This also leads me to another question, do the shops and restaurants have a problem with people coming in and out with book bags?? I work retail at a much much smaller scale then Disney and we always make people leave book bags at the front counter, didn't know if this is also practiced there as well. Just basically trying to get some feedback or ideas as to what you guys use for carry on bags.

From what I've seen (and I don't fly that often) the airlines have different limits. Check the website for your carrier and it should be listed.
This is what I've used and have had no problems. You can easily fit a set of light clothes or jammies in there. My girls use their JanSport backpacks and again, no problem. It has to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.

I have never had a problem in any WDW store or restaurant asking me to
leave my bag with them.

I'll read between the lines and guess that you're using Disney's Magical Express to get from the airport.

Number one, your room just might be ready ... you never know! Check-in time doesn't mean you can't check-in before that. I've arrived at 10:30 a.m. and had my room ready for me!

Number two, even if your room isn't ready, you can still check in, and you can have Bell Services store your carry-on bag for you. No need to schlepp it around unless you want to!!!
