Which show is better in your mind? Or which one do you enjoy the most?

This is a tough one, because they are both great shows for different reasons. In a way Walt was behind both of them. We know for sure he created Carousel of Progress since it was at the 1964 World's Fair. But another thing at the World's Fair was "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln." While Hall of Presidents was created for WDW in 1971 and wasn't created by Walt, I think what they did was expand on the Lincoln show and made it as grand as it is. To me COP has the charm that old Disney is known for and that's hard to beat. Hall of Presidents has the grand theatre and even the waiting area is a fun place to see with all of the pictures. Two classic shows.

to be honest, i really enjoy. carousel of progress more...after a long day in the parks at MK, it's nice to sit and relax and see the show....i've seen it for years, and it doesn't ever let me down. i love that they have the laser discs still in it. I didn't have that medium growing up but it just seems so retro and timely.

I pick COP but the survey does not let me.
HOP, is great but half of the US population always doesn't have their choice speaking as the current president.

i vote for COP because we watch it at least once on every trip. HOP is a good show but we can skip it every now & then. and i don’t have to hear someone boo an animatronic on COP.

I enjoy both . CoP gets a lot of negative posts on here so it surprises that it’s leading. I m a patriotic american and love HoP no matter who is leading the country. We need more presentations that shows this country and its leaders in a positive light. It’s a theme park and all presentations should be neutral for all sides.

I could have sworn I had done it right when I filled the thread out originally. Either way, a mod seems to have fixed it. Wow, a dominating 13-1 advantage for CoP? Didn't think it would be that big of a difference.

Nixon was the first President when it opened in 1971. I've personally seen Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama, Trump and Biden. The sitting President doesn't have the length of speech that you would think, he is not highlighted all that much. Mostly it is Lincoln speaking and the announcing of all of the names, and that's after the video. The current Prez has maybe a minute of speaking and that's it. So I've never thought it was a big deal if it was a President I wasn't a fan of because it isn't about them

Yes, I agree, many folks are quiet and polite and enjoy the show. There are many will not attend HOP depending on who is elected, there are a few who attend who are rude and only attend to disrupt.

I will always attend no matter who is elected to at the very least enjoy the dark, air conditioned, seated goodness. The show is a great show and I hope they never delete the current president’s speaking part.

I picked COP because it’s a show everyone could enjoy since it’s non political and also has the dark, air conditioned, seated goodness with a catchy theme song.

I went with CoP strictly because of the entertainment value. That plus I have so many happy memories of it on our first trip in 1983. The song then was "now is the time" and it was so memorable that in spite of only hearing it once my young girls and I sang it almost constantly on the drive back to Vermont.

I have an equal liking or once did, of HoP just for patriotic reasons for me and the history lesson for my children. I had friends that went to see it and were convinced that the presidents were actually live actors until I corrected them. Good show just not as personally significant, family wise, as CoP.

I was 10 years old and was convinced that the Presidents sitting up there were real. It amazed me. And it still does. I was so happy all of my kids loved the show. Honestly, I thought they might be bored but they weren't.

I figured just based on the Walt-created charm that CoP wins this poll, but I wasn't expecting the 27-3 landslide. It would be a travesty if either of them got taken out.

Carousel of Progress is one of the best attractions at the Magic Kingdom (and all of WDW).

Hall of Presidents is fine.
