Carousel of Progress Family

So I have always loved the carousel of progress. I just went on it a few days ago and my husband and I were trying to figure out if the family is the same family or a different one?? On the TTA they say it's 4 different families but they all have the same names?? lol I don't know why but we want to figure it out. Anyone got any theories?

It's always been John (Dad), Sarah (Mom), Patricia, Jimmy, Grandma, Grandpa, & Cousin Orville...
But, we Never find out what ever happened to the second daughter in the 1900's section...Because she's never to be seen after this segment..

She was a neighborhood kid that was sold into slavery to do the chores around the house that nobody else wanted to do. Child labor laws didn't exist back then. She moved on and became the wife of a very rich man that was in the oil trade. She did OK.

Yes you are right. I believe her married name was Rockefeller.

It's the same family through the eras, as mentioned above... With some poetic license.

The grandmother in the last scene, for example - is the mother in the previous.
