Caribbean Beach; TV/WiFi/Amazon Fire Stick

We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort in October, just looking for advice on what the TVs and WiFi are like there..

Requirements to use the stick are an HDTV with an HDMI slot. Ideally WiFi should be at least 3Mbps.... I know that WiFi speed is typically not great in hotels so just looking for comments from those that have stayed at this hotel recently.

Thanks!
I've used the amazon stick at several WDW hotels (not CBR unfortunately) and it has always worked fine. Sometimes a freezing issue with the HD quality stream but standard definition works great. Might want to bring an extension cord since the outlet is a few feet away from the tv usually.

I suppose if you need something to help you fall asleep a OSU game will do it. GO SPARTANS!!!! :) (or GO UofM if they are playing OSU)
Yuck yuck yuck!!!lol

I actually did cheer for MSU last year after we were out. It didn't help much though :(

The OSU Vs Go Blue game is on the first night of our cruise!! I'm so worried that we won't be able to watch it. I'm not going to send my kid to the kids club while I watch the game in an adults only bar. He would be furious. We love our Buckeyes!

We fly in the morning of 'The Game'... Should get to the resort (Caribbean Beach) in plenty of time to watch the Bucks dismantle Meatchicken... :D:D:D. Flight arrives MCO at 10:15am... so assuming there isn't a long wait for the DME I should be able to get in front of a TV by high noon.

2 years ago we had the same scenario. Early flight got us to Corinado Springs before the game started. Rooms weren't ready so I watched it at the pool bar with one other Buckeye fan. Now that I think about it... I better scout the CB resort map and figure out where to camp out for the game...

And for those nay-sayers that would think 'why would you go to Disney and waste time watching football?'
- C'mon... it's 'The Game'!
- Our first day of the trip is normally a quiet day anyway. We have a pretty intense schedule when we visit the parks, so our arrival day is always pretty laid back. Show up, relax for the afternoon and 'decompress' from life, have a nice dinner, maybe hit Disney Springs, get a good night's rest, then hit the ground running the next day! Of course I don't know that I have ever 'relaxed' during an Ohio State/Meatchicken game... But a little Ativan and a stiff drink during the game usually makes it all good!

I don't care if I'm at WDW, Paris, on a DCL ship, or in Bora Bora... I will do everything in my power to be watching my Bucks beat Michigan!!!

But even the game last year, it was a fun time hanging out in our room watching the game. We chose that day as our resort day. Swam, went and played mini golf, roasted marshmallows, then football. Bonus that all we had to do was walk to our balcony to watch the EWP and Wishes. Perfect ending to a perfectly magical day.

Do you spend zero time in your room???

DH watches tv as he falls asleep. We would also both watch a few shows while the kiddo napped in the room.

Ha Ha!!! We only watch the Disney Resort channel when in Disney. If I remember correctly, it's on a continuous loop every 15 minutes, The Disney Must Do's. We try to stay "unplugged" as much as possible.
