Caribbean Beach room request

We are staying at Caribbean Beach in July. I know it is not guaranteed, but I'd like to try to request to stay at a certain building. We are traveling with our 4 year old and just have a regular pool/water view room. Being close to the food isn't super important to us, but I would like to be close to a bus stop and a pool (any is OK, but bonus if it's the main pool). I know the buses stop at every building, so I'd like to be close to the beginning of the route so we won't come across any full buses. I've been looking at the map too but I'd appreciate any advice you could give me! Thanks so much!

I think what you have described is what 90% of people will want. If you have a water view room then you'll likely be near a pool but the bus stop thing is just luck I'd say.

you can call (or have your TA call if you booked with one) and make the request. i would look at a map of CBR and have some specific buildings or room numbers in mind before making the request. then when you check in, make the request again. the earlier you check in, you may have a better chance. keep in mind (and it sounds like you know this :)), it is a request and not a guarantee and will depend heavily on the occupancy the night before you check in.

We were in Jamaica 45 in April and LOVED that location. It was an easy walk across the bridge to Old Port Royale. It wasn't far from the pool in Jamaica. I would advise getting on the bus stop at OPR right now instead of the Jamaica bus stop, but that's still a close walk if you get off the bus in Jamaica.

Jamaica and Aruba are good locations because you can walk across the bridge to Old Port Royale. If you request just the building, you'll have a better chance than a building plus a view, etc.
