So cbr guests are being contacted but csr guests not yet. Interesting.

It looks like the construction at CBR is much more extensive than Coronado. Most notably Coronado's food court and restaurant aren't closing...

It was my understanding that Coronado would only impact some of Cabanas.

Coronado are also adding a lake centre restaurant and connecting bridges so I would guess that is equal imho.

UPDATE:

I managed to ring at 9am this morning, was on hold for 2 and a half hours but the cast member I spoke to was amazing! He immediatley offered us Port Orleans French Quarter at no cost to switch. He also went over all the dates for our ADRs and FP+ so I knew them and answered any other questions I had at the time (which were a few). It was a long wait to get through but excellent service when I did! Just stick with it I'd say

We had a very similar experience, was on hold for 3 hours( the music made the time go quickly tho), once through the CM was brilliant moved us to royal room at POR at no additional cost, still disappointed at moving but really exited to see what the riverside is like

Those of you that have switched,
Did you book directly through disney? We booked through Undercover Tourist and wondering what it's going to mean as far as switching if we choose.

Not true. Caribbean Beach's restaurant, food court and shops will be closing completely. These closures will have wide-ranging impacts on guests.

We are here now. Barbados is completely closed for refurbishment. I was expecting Old Port Royals Food court to be closed because we got the $75 gift card--right now everything is still open. The main pool and Caribbean Cay should be completely unaffected the whole time you are here.

"refurbishment" = "demolition" :)

We're here right now. We're staying in Jamaica, and there's no construction near us, it all on he other side of the resort. The dining tent is more like a dining temporary building. Buffets for breakfasts, lunch and dinner and a made to order food truck outside of it. The pool bar is closed, but there is a beverage truck right outside the gate of the pool. It's really not too much of an inconvenience.
