Has anyone used the CARES (Child Aviation Restraint System) for a child on the younger side? We are traveling to WDW in November with our to be 3.5 year old and to be 13 month old.
We are planning to use the CARES device for our 3.5 year old, but are debating CARES vs an FAA approved car set for our 13 month old. He is already 22 lbs so he will meet the age and weight qualifications for CARES, but will be at the low end. We will not need at car seat at WDW so the car seat would be just for the flights.
This is our first time flying with the kids so we are not sure the best way for us to handle the car seat issue on the plane.
