Again accidents like this must have happened in years past. I can't believe before those other big accidents that no car had ever hit a bus before. But because of those now the media has to report every little thing! And at least the sentinel has some decent info! friggin wesh's pre-k staff couldn't wait to get it out there and put it on top stories but they have barely any info!

With the number of Disney buses needed to move people around WDW, the odds are that these accidents will continue to increase. Disney needs to look at other ways to move people and reduce the number of buses on the roads.

This in no way shape or form had anything to do with Disney needing to change their system. Disney wasn't at fault whatsoever.

I think the folks that are in the LMA shows should train the bus drivers to drive the buses the way they drive the stunt cars

Freaking awesome... I would add a couple days to my resort stay just to sit on the side of various cloverleafs and intersections to watch that action unfold...:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

I am not saying that it is Disney is at fault at all, but as the number of buses continues to grow so will the number of problems. More buses using the same road space just increase the odds of there being a problem. Disney is going to have to address this sooner or later. Bus only lanes or access in some areas may be the answer or some other type of system for moving people from the areas that problems now exist.

And on the flip side you could make the same argument for reducing the number of cars on the property.

And I also agree with that 100%. A better WDW system would reduce the number of cars on the roads due to many people now drive cars from thier on property hotel rooms to the park because the bus system just does not meet thier needs.

I order to do this Disney has got to come up with a new method of moving people. I understand that additional monorail is too costly, but I am sure they could come up with something. One way that I think WDW could do this is have sometype of street car/troley rail system that runs on tracks from Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney that would connect the resorts/water parks along the way with a stop at the EPCOT monorail station.
