And I can give you a little first hand experiance from our trip in October. We rented a car through National from the Car Care Center near MK. The front desk called over to them for us and we spoke to them. They asked for a pick up time, and they picked us up at that time the next day in front of our resort (AKL).
The had a few other stops at other resorts to pick up a few other people, then they took us all to the Car Care Center. Then it's the normal get in line, fill out the paperwork, get you keys and you're off experiance you'd normally have at an Alamo or National car rental center.
When returning the car, we came back to the car care center, droped off the car, and boarded one of the busses. They will take you to your resort or any of the parks if you ask.
In all, the experiance was good, and I'd use it again. Definatly cheaper getting the car for a day instead of renting one for several days when I only really needed it for a day.
Some pointers:
1. Do not be late for your pick up time. The drivers will not wait around for you. If you are not there, they leave.
2. Make sure you give extra time when getting your car. Getting picked up and sitting through other people getting picked up, plus standing in a line at the center to get your keys could take 30+ min. Just make sure you leave yourself enough time if you're on a schedule.
