Car Rental....Can't Decide ?

We are going in September and renting a mini van.
Must be Airport terminal pickup.
I've narrowed it down to Alamo,Dollar and National ( in that order using various codes).
I've read about so many situations with regards to horror stories involving insurance pressuring,confusion and long line ups
(we should be picking up ours about 4pm on a Tuesday).
The likes of Avis and Hertz are out of the question because of their ridiculous pricing.
I'd be interested in everyones rental experiences.

We've gone with National the last two years, and we will be going with them again this year. I've never had any problems with them, and this year, they have a new program. I reserved a minivan through their website and qualified online for something they call "QuickRent". This will allow me to skip the check-in line entirely, go straight to the minivan aisle, and drive the minivan of our choice to the exit gate. One less line!

Send the driver(S) down to the car rental whilst others are waiting to pickup the luggage saves a bit of time.

I second the vote for National, it was very quick, the car was nice and pick up and drop off went off without a hitch.

We used Alamo in February, now that they're on airport. No problems at all, and a great rate. We joined QuickSilver, so we jump the lines, which is the worst part about Alamo to me.
