Well i had a wee peek at the menu and it looks good, especially if you like fish/shellfish etc. My DW is more into fish than myself but if I was eating there I would trying out the mussels & clam soup and the snow crabs.Do you eat fish or are you a strict vegan.

I don't eat fish, chicken or beef. I am the royal picky eater of the group! But, this one is not for me.

I have friends that had ressie's in Kouzina, on my recommendation, and they spoke to some friends that just came back and they said Kouzina was aweful.. I have eaten there is the past and thought it was wonderful...

I am in the midst of changing their ressie, they want to eat at either Yacht or Beach Club, no buffets. The Captain's Grille is the only restaurant with availability.

Just hoping it is a better choice?!?

WE enjoyed it..fantastic steak, not as good as Yachtsman which is right around the corner, but not as expensive either...I would'nt hesitate to eat there again

Thanks Sgt!

I did try the Yachtsman but there was no availability until 8:30pm. To late for the little ones...

Take a look at the Grand Floridian Cafe...we are trying it over labor day weekend..that might be an option as well
I like that option! I just have to see if they are willing to travel to GF.

We ate there last trip and were pleasantly suprised.

Sue, what about either Beaches and Cream or ESPN Club? There's always Bluezoo or Shula's at the Dolphin, but either restaurant isn't on the dining plan.

We ate at Captain's Grille a few months ago on a Saturday evening, and enjoyed our meal. The service was very good, food was great, and the nice thing was since it's out of the parks, it was quiet. We both ordered the Rib Eye and felt it was a good cut and cooked to our liking. We made a last minute reservation that afternoon - but we honestly wouldn't have needed it anyway, since there were plenty of tables available.

They have ressie's at ESPN during their stay. I am not sure about Beaches and cream, I think they want a broader menu...I don't know if I am saying that right..o_O

Shula's may be a nice option but, are they on the DDP?

Thank you! I am beginning to feel more comfortable...:)

We ate here last christmas and it was WONDERFUL, I could cut my steak with my fork. Service was excellent. I left cash for tip and extra's we ordered(alcohol, etc.) and the waiter had already charge my card for the extras unknowing to me. The manager looked us up(staying on resort) and called my cell to make sure all of the cash wasn't a tip. So he corrected the correct amount of tip. What was great it was the waiter that brought it too his attention to correct. I thought this was nice. The food and service was so great we're going here again this Dec. twice in a 12 day stay. It is one of our favorites, beside O'Hana and LeCellier.

To my knowledge, Shula's isn't part of the DDP, what about a short walk to Epcot? Just for kicks and giggles, see what restaurants have availability in Epcot for that time frame. This way, you have a great back up plan :)

WOW! Very good to hear. Thank you for sharing that with me.

We ate Captain's Grille in April for both breakfast and dinner and loved them both! The restaurant wasn't very crowded and the service was excellent. I had the rib-eye which was amazing and my sister had the crab legs which she loved. i can't remember what my husband had, but i know he liked it.
For us anyways we preferred Captain's Grill to Yachtsman's Steakhouse. While our food was very good at Yachtsman's we felt that Captain's Grille was a better bang for our buck. The portions of the side items were larger at Captain's Grille and we had better service.
