I think HISTA replaced EO when all that new stuff in Epcot happened in 1994. I could be wrong though. But I remember HISTA in 1995.

Awesome!
Although I find Michael Jackson disturbing today, as many do, I've got to respect his earlier work. I've recently viewed the Captain Eo video on #disney-central, and I'm highly impressed. I remember enjoying the attraction, too, though my initial response wasn't entirely positive.
I was very young when I first saw Captain Eo, and I was consistently terrified by the Supreme Ruler. Moreover, I wasn't sure who that zany lady playing Captain Eo was.
