Any chance Captain EO will do soft openings before July 2nd?

I'll be there from the 11th-20th and I'm really hoping I'll get a chance to see it.

Highly doubt it, most soft openings are just for major attractions. Captain EO is in a different league. Since MJ has a lot of followers and long time fans they might consider doing them.
