Accurate to the comic book yes, good movie nah.
couldn't get into that one. from what I did see, it was better than sucker punch.
It was a movie made for those that read the graphic novel. It wasn't made to appeal to a broader audience. They were welcome to come along for the ride but this movie was for the readers. I was always greatful for that because watchmen is very high on my list of favorite books.

I liked it a lot. They did a great job with Spidey and Black Panther fight scenes. That scene with T'Challa and his body guard was awesome! The actress nailed it. Enjoyed the Vision and Scarlet Witch stuff...nice to see those characters fleshed out some more. Alhough Vision and Witch seemed to hold back in fights. Actually how the filmmakers approached the airport fight, epitomized be Hawk and Widow exchange, was a nice touch...contrasted nicely with the fight at the end between Ironman and Cap/WS. I need to watch this again. Fun movie overall the stunts were awesome.

Nitpicking: the way they bring Spidey and Ant Man into the story was a bit jarring for me. Hated Rudd's acting (or lines) when he got out of the van. Also, how does Stark know who Spiderman is? Is that something from the comics? Seemed contrived in the film.

Also, I wish they went with simpler less convoluted stories for these. The movie felt perhaps 20-30 mins too long...maybe it was all the globetrotting.

I have to say it was interesting.

The "nitpicking" is more to show how little there actually is to complain about the film and how good it actually is. If the only thing I can come up with is the crazy giant font they used, you know you have a great film.
Yeah, that was a great movie. I really can't find anything. It left the team broken. I don't know how they'll get back together. I know they will for what's coming, but how?

I need to see it a third time.

Just saw it! I really enjoyed it and found the movie more emotional then I thought it would be. Black Panther was done so well. Great intro to his character. I really felt for him when his father was killed even though he had only been on the screen a minute. His bodyguard was amazing! I want to see lots more of her.

Spider-man was fun. I can't wait to see more of him.

I guess I missed the Giant-Man spoilers because it was a nice surprise.

Not a fan of Cap and Agent 13. It just seems creepy to me "Hey I used to date your aunt 70 years ago."

They never dated. They were fond of each other though.

Folks in the theater went nuts when he became a giant. Not sure if it was the visuals or Rudd's deliver or both. It was a cool moment on film and in the theater. The bit about the water/gas truck was funny too.

I agree with the Cap romance comment. Seemed weird. Although, for a while there I thought they were angling to make this new Carter, Captain Marvel. Maybe an Inhumans twist. I'm not familiar with the comics though.

Civil War was an absolute fun film from start to finish. Black Panther was beyond awesome. I became a big fan of his style of fighting and cannot wait for his solo story. Spiderman here was portrayed best than the previous five films Sony produced. A nerdy-awkward teen who doesn't know when to shut up but still manages to kickass.

I was totally on Stark's side towards the final moments of the film. Programmed or not, if someone viciously murdered my parents, it would be the end of them. Therefore, I cheered after Stark blew Bucky's mechanical arm off clean. I personally would've gone for the good arm, eye for an eye.

I definitely felt for Tony but I felt for Bucky too, he was brain washed and tortured for 70 years.

I was listening to the podcast Pop Culture Happyhour and one of the hosts articulated my thoughts about the Cap/Carter kiss perfectly.

There are a lot of long lingering looks between Captian America and Bucky. It feels like the suits got nervous and said can we just smoosh Caps face into a female.

If you dated someone and then decided to go for their daughter or niece, would people not think that's wired?

Based on what's been shown in the movies, Cap and Sharon barely know each other and have zero chemistry. I know it's cannon with the comics, but it came across as forced and unnecessary. Their relationship did nothing to advance the plot and just looked disprespectful after Peggy's funeral.

They lived across the hall for months. They definitely knew each other.

I think it also undercut her motivations. Instead of helping Cap because she thought it was the right thing to do. It made it seem like she was doing it because she thought Cap was hot.
