Cape May Cafe Buffet?

I love the salad bar, the soups, and desserts. I always loved their ribs the most, but I don't think they serve them anymore.

Hey Hatter! I must admit that I am NOT a fan of Cape May Cafe but my boys like it so I find myself going back.
We ate there most recently in October 2012 and I was, again, underwhelmed. My husband and sons however, enjoyed it. I am picky about what I eat and would prefer just a little taste of something cooked well and fresh over a heap of bland, overcooked food.
I had the crab legs which I found to be overcooked, stringy and with little to no meat. The fried clams were rubbery and cold. The seafood paella was inedible and bland. The prime rib (or whatever cut of beef they were carving) was tough and cold. The desserts, however, were very good and I made up for the lack of dinner with a plate heaping with desserts!

We just ate there last week for dinner, and the food was very good! Service was top notch. We use the TiW, and the discount comes in handy. We will be going back again!

cape may breakfast is awesome! dinner no idea. they do have great character interaction. we are thinking of trying dinner this coming year. ppicky seafood eaters. freshnis best

AMAZING! So worth it. We usually go once every trip but we didn't this year, we wanted to try something "new" lol

We have been to Cape May twice. If you like crab legs, this is the place to go. We didn't find them to be stringy or overcooked.
