. Cheers.Looks like it gets mixed reviews.Ah well.Back to the boards.Hey Hatter! I must admit that I am NOT a fan of Cape May Cafe but my boys like it so I find myself going back.
We ate there most recently in October 2012 and I was, again, underwhelmed. My husband and sons however, enjoyed it. I am picky about what I eat and would prefer just a little taste of something cooked well and fresh over a heap of bland, overcooked food.
I had the crab legs which I found to be overcooked, stringy and with little to no meat. The fried clams were rubbery and cold. The seafood paella was inedible and bland. The prime rib (or whatever cut of beef they were carving) was tough and cold. The desserts, however, were very good and I made up for the lack of dinner with a plate heaping with desserts!
